Nitro Racing was the F1 in Schools team at SATEC @ W.A. Porter C.I. for the 2024-25 season, made up of passionate individuals who love diving into STEM challenges. We're a first-year team that's never worked together before, but our shared love for F1 has brought us together to this competition. We tackle every problem with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. Our motto, "Driven with Ambition, Excelled by Nitro," perfectly captures our spirit. We're all about pushing boundaries, innovating, and working as a team. We're excited to take this journey together and see where our nitro-fueled drive will take us! 

Though we qualified for the 2025 World Finals in Singapore, financial realities held us back. Still, Nitro Racing has been one of the most defining experiences of our high school years.

We especially want to thank our founders, Joel and Ramisa, who poured countless hours, including many late nights of designing, testing, and problem-solving, into this project. Their commitment carried the team forward when things felt impossible.

We are also deeply grateful to those who guided and supported us when it mattered most: Vice Principal Mr. Cunjak, Principal Ms. Mayhew, and above all, Ms. Yung, who oversaw the team, guided us with patience, and supported us through every challenge. Without their belief in us, Nitro Racing’s story would have been very different.

Established in March 2024, the team has experienced significant ups and downs to reach its current position as a World Finals qualifier and the winner of the Canadian National Champion award, all in our debut season! Over the past few months, we have embraced every opportunity to improve and pushed the limits of what we can accomplish during our time at competition. Awards we've earned:
