Hey there! My name is Joel Sam Binish, Co-founder and Team Manager of Nitro Racing. My passion for STEM projects and passion for Formula 1 made it clear that I had to form this team and take it to the next level. I enjoy the challenge of balancing technical problem-solving with leadership, and my ultimate goal is to pursue a career in engineering, where I can apply both to create something meaningful.

My name is Ramisa Obaid, and I am a Grade 12 student at SATEC @ W.A. Porter Collegiate. As an ENFP, I bring enthusiasm, creativity, and energy to everything I do. I am deeply passionate about the motorsport industry and aspire to work in Formula 1, with the ultimate goal of becoming a strategist like Hannah Schmitz. I plan to study mechanical engineering in university and make my dreams a reality.

Since joining Nitro Racing in June 2024, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to our team’s success, earning multiple awards at the Canadian Checkpoint level. As the youngest member, I’ve embraced every opportunity to learn from my teammates while supporting tasks essential to our achievements.

Hi, I am Tanai Mehta, a grade 11 student at SATEC @ W.A. Porter and the design engineer for Nitro Racing. I am responsible for designing each and every part of our car. I have a passion for engineering and love building things in my free time. I plan to study Health Sciences at university and aspire to become a surgeon. I am also the newest member of the team and have a lot to learn as I progress through this competition. I am looking forward to every second of it!
Our support members assist their respective department leads (team members) in achieving tasks by attending regular meetings, adhering to deadlines, and offering comprehensive ideas and suggestions.
